In the small bathroom, we're tiling all the walls (it's a wet room, so it makes sense). We're not doing that in the big bathroom. We'll be painting some of the walls.
These are the tiles we're using in the big bathroom.
To make it, sort of, make sense, here's a pic of the bathroom - we'll be tiling in the shower/tub area up to about shower height on the shower side of the wall and around the window. No tile above it or on the opposite wall. We'll tile up to the wall height (or around there) so that the sink has a backsplash of sorts and that will go behind the toilet as well. There will be paint above that area.
My question is...should I just keep it about the same colour as the wall tile (a creamy white) or should I go for a colour? And if a colour, then what? TIA for your helpful comments!
Here's the original bathroom pic (they did one entire wall of tile but nothing else and kept the paint white):
I was just talking to the contractor and we were thinking of just painting colour on the wall above the sink and toilet - the big mirror will cover a portion of it, and the rest of the room can be white - but it'll be nice not to have everything white.
