Why do I continue to be surprised at just how deep and wide this all goes? I said on election night that Trump is a con man and nothing he would do would surprise me, and yet…here we are!

What really baffles me is how many people he can get to do his work for him. And there are still people willing to represent him!

I assume these people are just horrible judges of character in real life. How else could they be played so hard by Trump and STILL think that man cares about them at all?!

Because he says and stands for what they want (anti lgbtq, racist etc) and they are willing to look the other way.

These are the people who have been shown in studies to prefer an authoritarian gov't. They would be fine with Fascism as long as it harms others and not themselves (and honestly, even if it harms themselves but not as much as 'others').
