Hey look...same thing that comes up during every single conversation on climate change and sustainability on this board.

The state argued that even if Montana completely stopped producing C02, it would have no effect on a global scale because states and countries around the world contribute to the amount of C02 in the atmosphere. A remedy has to offer relief, the state said, or it’s not a remedy at all.

Well we can't fix it by ourselves, so no compelling reason to do anything at all!  

This is far from a silver bullet, but the idea of evaluating drilling permits without including an evaluation of the GhG impact is wild to me so I sure hope that manages to shake out into a real change.
