DCL Southern Caribbean

Have you ever done a DCL Southern Caribbean cruise? We canceled our Alaska cruise on RCL and booked this one on Disney because the kids just weren’t that excited about Alaska and it was going to be a zillion dollars after airfare and excursions. We’ll do Alaska in a few years.

My one hesitation is there is only one at sea day, and I kind of love at sea days to just totally relax and enjoy the ship. But on the bright side, we get to see six places!

Thanks, dcrunnergirl52! We have about half of the same ports. I am glad to see you can just take a taxi in Barbados because six days of port excursions will get pricey quickly!

Would you mind sharing the name of the hotel you stayed at the night before the cruise and if you recommend it?

We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris, and definitely recommend. We've stayed there twice, and I was recently looking at doing a quick weekend getaway there at some point.
