Metallica made some interesting headlines after a dog was reportedly abandoned at one of their recent shows at SoFi Stadium in California. However, this turned out to be false. The band took to social media to clarify these reports, and the update is simply outstanding.
Metallica’s statement read, “Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to @sofistadium and made her way to the gig all by herself. After a full night taking in the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day.”
The band said she had a great time and was so glad to hear her favorite songs at the show. They included, “‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies,’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.'”

Can't be sure, but she looks like a huskie to me. In which case I would not be at all surprised if she takes herself on many adventures without her humans 😂

A dog ran down a major highway in Philadelphia during morning rush hour. Appeared to be a husky. He was finally -- after about an hour -- captured and taken to a local vet for a checkup and to scan for a chip. Was re-united with his family.
A week later, he escaped again, but thankfully ran down a street that ran alongside the highway, rather than on the highway itself.

We had a husky growing up. She loved to jump the fence and just... run. For miles. We would chase her all afternoon trying to get her back home and she thought it was the best game ever. She would stand still long enough to let us get close enough to almost catch her. And then I swear she would grin/laugh and run another mile 😂
She was definitely not made for suburban living - you could tell she was bored out of her mind. My parents gave her to a couple who already had a husky and lots more space to run. She was definitely the type who would take herself to a concert lol.

There is a famous escape artist husky in our old neighbourhood. Everyone knows who he is and will either text them or post on the local FB page “I have Charles at [house number].” Inevitably someone always comments that they should do a better job containing him. The dog cannot be contained. Their yard is double fenced, every door has a deadbolt. But if you give that dog an inch he will figure out how to make it wider and escape. They live on a small ranch so he has wide open spaces to run and work to do, but he still loves nothing more than making a run down the street to find new friends.
