Summary - GA expects the case to be fully tried in a 4 month duration, and they want everyone together at once. Of course there's a bunch of squawking from the co-conspirators.
I am trying to understand DA Willis strategy. Pretty much every lawyer/analyst including the judge today suggested that you can’t bring 19 people to trial by next month and expect them all to just be ready to go. There is a Rico trial going on currently and they’ve been trying to find jurors for 8 months now. It just doesn’t seem realistic.

I think it’s leverage to get the co-conspirators to flip and provide evidence and testimony on the ring leaders. Or plea deals. She has to be ready for 2 of them, and probably is - they have been investigating for 2 1/2 years, she has the evidence. That the jury selection will take time is a good point, but she doesn’t have to say it.

yeah am sure she is ready for all of them. I guess also she expects all of them to file their whiney motions for everything and anything so might as well get a date fast and have them begin the nonsense which they've done already.
I'm also wondering if they don't want to burn out the witnesses, having them testify for all 19 cases. There's a greater room for error and the defendant lawyers coming back with "well you said x at y trial, but you didn't here" blah blah blah. Also, with each trial, the lawyers are just going to firm up their defenses more as they see what the prosecutors have up their sleeves.
