Philadelphia cop charged with murder in traffic stop death

Has this made the national news? 

The first report was that police pulled over a man identifed as Eddie Irizarry driving erratically, the man exited the vehicle with a knife, and they shot and killed him. 

Then the story changed. He DIDN'T exit the vehicle, but police saw a knife on the front passenger seat. 

Then video came out that showed the vehicle pull over, the car had its windows UP, and police shot within seconds of approaching the vehicle. 

The officer was fired for refusing to cooperate with the investigation, and will turn himself in today on murder charges.

I had a whole three paragraphs written with maybe something vaguely insightful but I lost them and really it all boils down to, I'm glad he was charged. My thoughts with the family of the victim. ACAB.

Also...pretty sure he was in danger of shooting his partner with the lack of muzzle control and judgement involved.
