October Covid (possible @ content)

DS is getting his updated vax tomorrow at Walmart. I think it's Moderna, can't remember where I read that though. That's not a problem if he had Pfizer previously, right?

Ugh, DD and I both tested positive today. She started feeling crummy Wed evening and took a test, it was negative during the testing time frame but when I went to toss it out in the AM it was positive. We hoped that meant it was a faulty test but today's test was positive right away. I had the same experience when I took one last night but today's showed up positive right away. At least we both had our boosters. Her doctor called in Paxlovid for her and I'm hoping my doctor will do the same for me. DH still hasn't gotten Covid (2nd time for DD, 3rd for me). Crossing all the crossables that he avoids it this time as well.

Her school hasn't been giving any Covid updates or tracking as far as I know, but I reached out to the nurse and they are following CDC protocol - home for 5 days and then 5 days masked. I'm sure a lot of people aren't testing or reporting though.
