There are too many posts that I could add this as a comment to so figured I'd just do one big post.

I really want to thank you guys. This board is one of the first places I come to for valid news information.  Whether it is government shut down related which personally affects my husband and I to the current situation in Gaza.  You always back up your stances with facts and not just your opinions.  I always feel so much smarter after visiting this board.

Same. I don't read or post much on these parts anymore, but when something is happening in the world I come to this board for an intelligent and reliable discussion of what's going on. I admire and appreciate everyone that posts here.

I am also thankful for this board and the intelligent and thoughtful posters here. I find it really hard to filter through everything I’m seeing online and I appreciate the resources shared here.

Same. I also appreciate the opportunity to maturely and intelligently have different opinions. See also: Israel/Palestine discussions.

I often come in here with an opinion and leave more open minded. You cannot get that from the comments areas of online newspapers to say the least.
