pets and a house cleaner

Sorry for all of these dumb questions.

When we leave for work betty hangs out in the basement with all of the doors closed, so she's restricted to 1 room. We also leave her crate in the basement with the crate door open, in case she wants to go in. She's totally fine crated with the door closed too.

I want her out of the way for the house cleaner (she's usually there about 4 hours), so the plan was to crate her with the door closed while they'reat my house cleaning. I can't find a good place to put the crate since they need access to the whole house.


Where do you put your pets? Thanks!

Our dogs are crated in our family room. The crates are always there, so they just clean around them.
