The first was Thornhedge, by T. Kingfisher. A little less dark than some of her other books and fairly short but I liked it.
The second was Blood Ink Sister Scribe Emma Törzs. I found this book hard to put down and really enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure this wouldn't have been on my radar if not for a post here so thank you to whoever mentioned it!
I finally finished Starter Villain. I think I would have liked it better if I had read it in a shorter span of time, but life did not cooperate. Now reading The Connellys of County Down — I liked her first book, so probably will be good.
QOTW: I used to hate Thursdays but now I think Tuesdays are the worst. Fridays are the best.

Just finished You, Again. Supposed to be an updated version of When Harry Met Sally, which I've never read or seen, so I can't really comment on that part. I liked the main character Ari. I related to her in some ways. The other main character, Josh, was an absolute ass. He makes up for it a little, but not enough IMO. So I gave it a 3.
Just got my copy of Iron Flame (Fourth Wing sequel) so that's probably next.
Favorite day, probably Saturday. Least favorite.. not sure. I don't mind Mondays but they really suck after a busy weekend!
I finished The Remains the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro,2* (liked the premise, liked how he pulled it all together in the end, but I disliked it while reading it. The story was so dull.)
I also finished Sisters Under the Rising Sun by Heather Morris, 3.5*. I found the story interesting even though the characters lacked depth. I don't think it's a story that will stick with me.
I'm currently reading The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey.
Favorite day- Friday: Fridays are pretty laid back since I've usually completed most/all of my to do list for the week by then. I usually get some time to recharge before everyone gets home and it's chaos. Least favorite- Monday: The kids are tougher to get moving in the morning and I usually put my toughest tasks on Monday's to do list.
I finished Managing Expectations by Minnie Driver on audio. I enjoyed that she read it. I’m not a huge fan of short story type books (I’ve tried), but this was more like glimpses into her life in chronological order, so it seemed less disjointed than many short story collections.
I’m still reading Heartless by Marissa Mayer. It seems like a story that could have been shorter, but I’m not disliking how it’s going either.
Favorite days of the week: Friday. Even though you’re working, the anticipation of the weekend and the sense of celebration that the week is nearly done makes the day the best of the work week. Saturday is the other, because you still have a whole other day to the weekend. Least favorite is probably Monday, but often We’d.

Finished A Touch of Moonlight and When in Rome. I liked When in Rome much better.
Started listening to No Whisk, No Reward which is about a pastry chef who gets stuck in a small town after her car breaks downs. It's going... slow.
QOTW: What are your favorite and least favorite days of the week? Mondays are my favorite because I work from home and usually don't have any meetings so it's my one quiet day of the week. Least favorite is Wednesdays I hit the ground running at 6am and don't get a break until around 9pm.
