I had a Cranberry Mule at a restaurant Friday that was so good. It had ice, Deep Eddy Cranberry vodka, ginger beer, lime juice, and lime garnish. The vodka is only a 70 proof, so not harsh. There was just enough ginger beer get a hint of ginger heat.
You could sub cranberry juice or a sweeter cranberry juice blend for the vodka.
ETA - I bet it would be delicious with seltzer instead of whisky.

If you make it a mocktail, and sub seltzer instead of whiskey, what would you put in to give it that cinnamon punch?
I probably would put a cinnamon stick in with the cranberries and simmer it, but considering I managed to botch the recipe the first time I tried, I may not be the best person to offer suggestions. 😂
I just saw this list of mocktail recipes on FB. Maybe it would be easier to start with one of these and add whatever alcohol would go best? There are a few cranberry ones, an apple ginger, a salted caramel, etc. that could work for Thanksgiving.

Just coming for ideas and to share that Smirnoff has some kind of cranberry apple cinnamon vodka out that looks amazing if you don’t mind slumming your vodka (I do not). I saw it in the store a few weeks ago.
I'd do cranberry mimosa poinsettias. I love mimosas and can't do heavy cocktails so these are the most "cocktail" that I get, usually. You can replace the prosecco/champagne with a sparkling water.
We had Friendsgiving over the weekend and I made a delicious cranberry bourbon smash cocktail for the adults. I made a batch of cran apple cider for the kids and they loved it.
Make an orange cinnamon simple syrup: (this makes enough for probably 20+ cocktails) 1 c brown sugar 1 c water 2 cinnamon sticks the peel from 1 large orange (use a vegetable peeler to create strips of zest) Combine in a medium sauce pan over med-low heat and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the sugar completely dissolves. Let cool then remove the cinnamon sticks and orange peel. Store in a glass jar.
For the kids I did: 2c cranberry juice (100% juice) 2c apple cider juice from 1 orange 1/4 c of cinnamon simple syrup
Pour over ice and fill glass about 1/2-2/3 full. Top with either plain club soda or a flavored sparkling water (we did blood orange cranberry Polar sparkling water) Garnish with apple slices and/or orange slices and/or sugared cranberries everydayannie.com/2012/12/18/how-to-make-sugared-cranberries/

If the cranberry syrup comes out too thick, you can thin it with more water.
So, two flavors of simple syrup then? Wouldn’t that be incredibly sweet?
Add a cinnamon stick to the cranberry mixture when making the cranberry syrup. If you wanted to use both syrups for both cocktails and mocktails, use regular whiskey instead of cinnamon whiskey.
