Dan Savage - sex columnist/ journalist/ etc has a running Twitter gag when a celebrity dies. He retweets a headline announcing the death and captions "not the obituary I wanted to read today" about a not good person and after replies are all up in arms responds "but it'll do". If it's a good person there's acknowledgement of that, too. Anyway, the punchline is there is ONE he's been waiting for but won't say who- running theory for years is that it's Kissinger. And now that news has broken in the past 30 minutes, Dan Savage has not managed to bother to tweet anything- the nerve when readers have been waiting for the payoff.

I always assumed it was Trump lol but I don't know if it's been going on longer than that or not.

I did see he did eventually post that Kissinger's was not it.

It’s death like these that make me wonder how hard it is for politicians to put out their statements sometimes. I know not many actually write their own speeches/comments etc in their entirety, but imagine having to put out a comment about Henry and it can’t be something like,

“Working with Henry was an experience I will never forget. I would always leave our conversations with many thoughts and reflections. I will forever look back at our congruent time in leadership positions as a chapter of deep learning of character. May those who loved him, and those who knew him find peace in his passing.”

Not sure if you are speculating or hoping I'll answer. I don't know who his #1 or#2 are, top "guess" is now Trump per Twitter. I feel like there were little hints over the years which is why people "know" he was government affiliated.

Instead of a politician, maybe a hate monger religious leader like James Dobson or Tony Perkins. Although, Jerry Falwell is already gone, and he would have been a likely candidate, so if not him, probably not the others like him.

I used to listen to it many years ago (15+). I agree it's excellent, but I have so much content and not enough time I eventually cut that one out.
