Yes, keep us informed please. As a child of Indian immigrants myself, we’re known for being competitive in school while growing up and in our careers. So I find it peculiar that there are two of us in this particular competition. I don’t think any of our parents would have ever thought their progeny would align with the party that didn’t want us to immigrate here in the first place.

No, they aren’t vying for VP. They all want to become the nominees and knock Trump out. I’d be relieved. While they’re all pretty terrible as well, I firmly believe Christie and Haley believe in the US Constitution and aren’t in it to literally destroy democracy, unlike Trump and DeSantis.

No, they aren’t vying for VP. They all want to become the nominees and knock Trump out. I’d be relieved. While they’re all pretty terrible as well, I firmly believe Christie and Haley believe in the US Constitution and aren’t in it to literally destroy democracy, unlike Trump and DeSantis.

Both of them worked for him though. And Christie was fully involved as recently as the 2020 debates.

I don’t dispute they are less despicable than Trump. I would sleep better if one of them were to be the nominee.

They both want power badly enough that they also scare me though. It also frightens me that I think ANY other R has a better chance of beating Biden than Trump.

Nowhere am I saying they’re good candidates or not scary. They both want power badly.

Being a nearly lifelong NJ resident, I’m well aware of how dangerous Christie is. But he still believes in our constitution and I believe that he’ll follow the law and not stage a coup should he not win reelection and at that point that is literally the metric by which I’m viewing GOP nominees. I also trust that Haley wouldn’t stage a coup, can’t say the same for anyone else on that stage.

I’m terribly scared that Biden can’t beat anyone on that stage, which is the scariest reality of all to be honest.

Not a chance Christie will be VP. He's fully burned the bridges with Trump. Haley has been tightroping around going after Trump. I think she is definitely going for it which makes me really sad. The wild card is all of the Trump Trials in the Spring/Summer but I dare not to hope that it will make a difference.

I'm DREADING the election next year. It's going to be so anxiety inducing from all different fronts. I'm a fed so a second Trump presidency is scary on many different levels.

I think it was mentioned maybe on pod save america that mathematically it would be hard for Trump to lose the primary. The R’s have changed the rules in some states to favor him. His lead is just so high. Nikki and Ron have a huge hill to climb if they don’t win Iowa and it doesn’t look like they will. What sucks is that so many people are just not paying attention that Trump will just slide through and become the R nominee. The only people paying attention is his base and that is all he needs right now for primary purposes I think.
