Obviously these are all over social media and constantly recommended as gifts but, does anyone here actually own one? Or someone in their household?
I never wanted one myself (have plenty of reusable water bottles I love already) but I got one as a gift so I started using it anyway. It's insanely heavy and bulky. There is no way I could leave my house with it. I work in NYC so there is zero chance I am lugging this to work with me.
So I am curious, if you have one, how do you use it? Do you carry it around with you?
I got one to see what the hype was all about because it was on sale. Honestly, I use my under armour water bottle more often than the Stanley. I work from home so I hoped it would entice me to drink more water as I seem to drink more when using a straw.
There is no way I'd lug it around outside of work.

I have one. I almost never take it to work, but I really like it for car trips, it keeps everything cold in a hot car. I use it at home a fair amount, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so open water glasses aren't a good option.
We bought one for DD for Christmas, it seems like a tremendous waste of money unless you manage to get it on sale or something - we paid around $50. It is basically a Yeti with a handle.
I don't have one and I'm always surprised by the popularity simply due to the straw. Straws get so gross if not cleaned regularly! I have 2 Yetis (20oz, 30oz). I prefer taking the 20oz on the go. If I'm going to be gone all day, I have a 1 gallon insulated bottle I'll fill and use to refill the Yeti.
I still use one - lol! But I joke that it doubles as a weapon, because when it's full of water it is very heavy and probably could knock someone out if I needed to swing it at them (thankfully I've never tested this).
I was just looking at them online yesterday, and asked a coworker for her thoughts on hers-she said she haaaates it. Too big/bulky and hers leaks around the lid a ton. I ended up ordering a Yeti version that's maybe 5oz smaller, since I've been happy with my Yeti products so far.

I have a knockoff (Reduce brand) in 40oz bc I'm not paying that for a water bottle and I love it. Yes it's heavy to carry when there's water in it, but I've never been better about drinking water because I like my water really cold with lots of ice and it keeps it that way for me, and I drink far more water from a straw cup than the others. I probably wouldn't carry it daily if I had like a long walk to work, but I'm just going from my car through the parking lot into the office so I can juggle it.
I have one and hate it. It fits nicely in my car’s cup holder and that’s the nicest thing I can say about it. It’s too big, spills easily, and I went back to my yeti very quickly.

LOL this is what my H says about mine. I like that it's large enough for my to get my water in but not TOO heavy to carry.
The number of teen girls who carry those things around school will never stop amazing me. I suspect they never fill them more than 1/3 full because they're just so heavy even when they're empty.
My family of 4 all has one. We pretty much only drink water and we all like not having to keep refilling our cups.
We do take them with us when we leave the house but they usually stay in the car. If we’re going somewhere with a lot of walking we’ll bring a regular water bottle too.

Yep. The teen girl uniform here is Lululemon from head to toe, some sort of expensive Nike shoe, Kendra Scott necklace, and a Stanley cup. It’s something else.
I don't have a Stanley (also don't really understand the hype), but I have a 40 oz Hydro Flask which I love, but is also very heavy especially when full. I don't really use it to carry around, it mostly lives on my desk, or on the couch when I was nursing a newborn. I like that it holds a lot of water so I don't have to get up to refill it very often, it's not prone to big spills (I have a straw one), and that it keeps the water cold. I have smaller and lighter water bottles that I use if I want to carry a water bottle around.
I have one and I like it. I prefer cups with straws and I like that I don't have to refill it all the time. It also fits in cup holders for the most part. I dislike that it takes forever to fill up and if you knock it over it spills. It's also kind of heavy when its full. If I didn't have one and was going to purchase, I'd buy Brumate's version instead of a Stanley because they've solved the spillage issue. My cup gets knocked over all the time by my cat.

I got a "dupe" of a Stanley for half the price on Amazon. I call it my Schmanley lol. It looks the same to me, but I am not obsessed with the status of a Stanley. I use this one at work only and it keeps my water cold throughout the day and that's all that matters to me.
