Well, it's a really small silver lining but I think Colorado Republicans are tired enough of her that I bet she won't win in the 4th district either, even if the Rs win both districts anyway. At least there's a good chance she won't get reelected to Congress.

Trent Leisy, one of the other guys running against her in the R primary has publicly called for the lynching of the "tyrants" in the CO Supreme Court. He's having a rally on Saturday Dec 30 to push that narrative. The only way the 4th is safe is by going D (which is HIGHLY unlikely). She is a trainwreck, but an ineffectual one that's been written off. This guy might actually get something pushed forward in the House. I feel he's more dangerous. We're outside the district by about 3 miles, but you can bet we'll be donating to the D that ends up on the ballot!

What a time we live in where Boebert might still be the better option. She's so disgraced she might not be able to functionally do something horrible, and that might be the best case.
I'd still love to see her fail on a personal level, but you're right that for the country, it may not be the better outcome.

Ike McCorkle is the best choice. He's a Dem, retired Marine, so he can get that vote too. But, that district has almost twice as many registered Republicans as registered Democrats.
I didn't realize reps don't need to live in their districts in Colorado. Huh.
She's gotten enough negative press that I hope she'll have an uphill battle even in the new district (in the primary, at least; I know it's a heavily R district for the general).
A few thoughts: I laughed that she basically abandoned her district now that she looks to lose. Nice look lady!
I could see people in this district not liking an outsider coming in and making it all about her. A big part of this district is small town agricultural towns, which to me is more about the “local” candidate than much of her O&G small town and mixed larger town district in a completely different part of the state.
