BQ: I prefer to stay home on NYE. It's amateur night around here. So, I watched a couple episodes of a tv show I'm catching up on, ate a homemade cheese+crackers+jam+chocolate plate, and may have replayed Green Day on NYE w/Ryan Seacrest a few times--they are my favorite band.

Fri: 60 min elliptical Sat: 4 mile run, 3 mile walk Sun: 5k run, 3 mile walk Mon: 45 min elliptical
BQ: it was just me and H. We watched movies, had cocktails, walked around the neighborhood and looked at Christmas lights still up. Super low key here.
Fri: 3 mile run and 30 min full body strength Sat: 30 min Peloton cycle and some running Sun: 30 min Peloton cycle
BQ: We went mini golfing with family and then had them at our house for appetizers and pizza. They have young kids, so they were gone by 8:30 and we let our kids stay up for the 11pm East coast ball drop/
Fri: 4 mile treadmill run Sat: -- NYE: 3.6 mile social run with friends NYD: --
BQ: We made personal pizzas with the kids on NYE, put them to bed, and shared a bottle of Prosecco while finishing All the Light we Cannot See (liked it right up until the ending) with a fire going. Last day of staycation!
Sun: 6 mile NYE run & brunch with my running group Mon: 4 mile run
BQ: I don’t really celebrate NYE. My cousin was killed on NYE by a drunk driver and it feels weird celebrating. But I’ve never been a fan of NYE anyway. I stayed in and ate snacks and watched Saltburn while DH went to a party and DS slept. It was perfect.
