I just had to explain to my DH why it doesn't actually matter. At the end of the day, he is running away with the primary polls, he's going to win the nomination.

If he can’t be on the primary ballot, doesn’t that disqualify him from being on the ballot in November for the Republican Party? I know in NJ there are laws about that…
This is so stupid and misleading. He isn't on the primary ballot because NV, previously a caucus state, passed a law saying if more than one candidate files they must have a primary election as well. And a candidate can only choose one.
"The Republican Party will use the caucus, rather than the primary, to determine who will win the state's 26 delegates, which means the primary election is symbolic. Most of the leading candidates sought to participate in the caucus."
