She won’t gain supporters either way… and Trump has zero incentive to participate. I think it’s more of a ploy for her to leave the race and try to do so with some sense of dignity and can say she tried but Trump refused to play in the sandbox.

I don't think she's ready to quit the race. Isn't she expected to beat Desantis in most of the upcoming primaries? I can see not wasting time on debates if Trump won't join.

I am in NH and see her signs in tons of yards. It is INSANE. I live in a very liberal town and I was shocked by how many people put her signs in their yards.

I also get more commercials and mailers from her than any other candidate.

I think she could win the NH republican primary.

I was at Encore (lol) over the weekend and at a table with a bunch of NH folks who were discussing Haley. They all held their nose and voted for Biden in 2020 but are super jazzed about Haley.

I mean, at this point she and DeSantis have debated several times, right? I’m not sure what more could be gained from further debates, especially if Trump refuses to participate.

They're not going to hate women that much and then vote for the (semi) liberal guy instead. They might just not vote, they might go 3rd party, but they're not going to vote Biden.

Now, in the primaries there are people saying a woman shouldn't be president. A few are trying calling her an anchor baby and ineligible on for size. They tried that with Cruz she's McCain, too, so it's not a particularly new primary tactic

She's not 80+, she's very charming and personable, you get to feel good about yourself for voting for a woman+minority.  Frankly 90% of people want somebody NOT biden or Trump.

I was watching the news last night and they were doing interviews with conservative older women who caucused in Iowa. All the interviews they aired said they wanted a woman president.

I think we'd do well to remember that women in the Republican party elected Trump. And that it was Democratic men who didn't vote for HRC.

Tonight I sat next to a largish bookclub of older ladies who sounded fairly liberal on their stances of things. They started talking about Haley and how they would vote for her over Biden if she was in the ballot.

I can't BELIEVE we endured fucking DeSantis in our state for a whole year. Put up with his smarmy ass face plastered everywhere. Had to listen to our governor's baby voice on commercials etc just to have him drop out 6 days after the caucus. I am actually offended lol. All of this was for absolutely nothing. What a waste. How embarrassing for him.

I assume Trump promised to endorse him in 2028 if he dropped out. Not like there will be a 28 election if Trump wins, but that’s irrelevant in getting him to drop out.

He wanted to do it before the NH primary so hopefully his votes go towards trump and not Haley.  It's her best shot to have a strong showing...
