In Trump’s New York case, a judge is slated to finalize the timetable for his trial on charges that he falsified business records to cover up an affair with a porn star in the closing weeks of the 2016 election.


In his Washington, D.C., case, the Supreme Court may signal whether it will quickly resolve Trump’s claim that he is “immune” from federal charges stemming from his effort to subvert the 2020 election.

In his Georgia case, where Trump is also facing state charges related to the 2020 election, a judge has scheduled a Thursday hearing to examine an effort by Trump and several co-defendants to disqualify the prosecutors.

And in his Florida case, a judge is weighing Trump’s latest motion to postpone key deadlines — a likely precursor to delaying the May 20 trial on charges of hoarding classified records at his Mar-a-Lago home.

My take is this shit wouldn’t be happening if she was a mediocre white man. IF they can prove she did something wrong, get to it. I hope not, but it is what it is. It seems like it hinges on a disgruntled, ex friend that was fired from the DAs office. This is a personal attack because they must get rid of her or Grandpa Rico is going to burn for election interference. If Willis is dismissed, extremely likely it all goes away. So. Not a lawyer, but I’m having an issue with the narrative that she needs a “man to support her” theory of this case.

I watched almost all of when she was on the stand. They tried to nail her many times but they just weren’t able too. CNN carried all of it live. What a circus and I just can’t believe we are always here with this Trump shit.

Every analyst for what it’s worth on CNN has said there just isn’t anything there to dismiss her or the office off this case.

I watched most of it as well. Definitely wild. She tried to take control of the questioning. I don't think it was bad. I don't know it seemed believable with the whole cash thing. Not the way I operate with money but it could be the way she does. She said she keeps lots of cash at home because her dad instilling in her to always have lots of it on hand.  

There is plenty of other evidence that she is in no way that she is financially benefiting from this case. She can't even live in her own house. Ultimately no matter how many salacious details they come out with that is what is the issue is and the defense hasn't proven that. 

Judge McAfee has stated that the financial benefit is the only issue they are discussing because the DA is free to hire whomever she wants as long as they have a heartbeat and a bar card. So there is no discussion of Wade's qualifications.

H & I were just discussing last night that this is how every older person we know operates....keeps a fairly decent amount of cash in their home and takes it with them for traveling.

icedcoffee - initially, my reaction about the cash was the same as yours. It is beyond my comprehension to have that much cash lying around.

However, her dad’s story about his experience at a restaurant in Harvard lends credence to this and Black Twitter supports the idea that having cash on hand is something that older generations have drilled into younger generations.

While I wish this hadn’t have happened at all because this is a total circus, I really hope that this case is dismissed so we can get on with prosecuting Trump.

In a Jordan klepper segment (daily show) her talked to a guy who even bought the stupid coin (autocorrect wrote con: accurate). He claims he's done buying shit, but there have to be others out there who are not. People pay ridiculous amounts to get into maralago just to be in his presence. I could see these being a maga status symbol.

I saw a TikTok yesterday saying that it's possible that Louboutin may sue them since the shoes have red bottoms, and Louboutin has sued other shoe companies from trying to have red bottoms and won. LOLOL forever if they do and he owes more money!

CNN is reporting that Supreme Court will pick up the case to decide if he has immunity regarding the Jack smith fed case. This now delays the trial.

AP News is reporting that today, the appellate judge rejected Donald Trump’s request to pause the $454 million civil fraud penalty against him. Judge rejected that but did lift one of the sanctions that Trump
cannot use NY banks for loans (for 3 years) to get a bond to cover what is required.

What did the Trump lawyers say? Trump disclosed in a fling to the court that he did not have enough money to cover the 1/3 payment required to appeal & could find anyone to post the bond. Trump proposed putting up only $100 million. He’s crying poverty for the rest and “unfair” that he’d have to sell property at a loss. Judge was not having it.

In other reporting : The Daily Beast is reporting that Trump, without the knowledge of his overseer has been transferring his properties from NY to FL so they can’t be used against him.

They were moved in 2023 after he was sued.
