“Donald Trump secured a $91.6 million bond from insurer Chubb in order to allow the former president to appeal an $83.3 million verdict against him in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case.
The surety bond contract with Chubb’s Federal Insurance Co. was signed by Trump earlier this week. Though it prevents writer Carroll from immediately collecting the award, it is a promise Federal will pay if Trump loses the appeal or fails to pay.
Chubb sent a statement when reached for comment and said it does not talk about specific clients, but added that its surety division provides appeal bonds “in the normal course of business.”

No, but do tell…
It was a long interview. He was a valet at Mar-a-Lago and friends with Trump for over 21 years. He was also close friends with Carlos, the property manager, who is supporting Trump. He was in the indictment docs as "Trump Employee 5" and has gone public under his real name in hopes that people will not vote for Trump (and he expects his name to be released soon anyway). He talked about how he unknowingly moved the boxes of documents to Trumps plane to go back to NJ, how Trump wanted the security camera footage of them being moved deleted.
He seems like good people and doing this is super risky for him, but he said he did it because it's the right thing.
Trump Spurned by 30 Companies as He Seeks Bond in $454 Million Judgment Donald J. Trump’s lawyers said in a court filing that he faces “insurmountable difficulties” as he tries to raise cash for the civil fraud penalty he faces in New York.
All of his cases are mixed up in my head. So if he doesn't come up with the money, his assets will be seized? That seems like a costly and time consuming task. Too bad they can't just put him in jail.

I want him in jail AND to recuperate what he owes. Why not do both? And I mean the real value of the assets, not his priced over inflated value.

I want them to take his shit like they do in the movies. A bunch of movers out in front of Trump Tower, bringing down gold toilets and shit for all and sundry to watch.
