In an effort to see who is here and introduce ourselves to new people, here are some questions:
1. Where are you in your BOTB journey?
2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession?
3. What would people be surprised to know about you?

1. Where are you in your BOTB journey?
We have 2 daughters ages 9 and 17 months. We are currently half-ass trying ttc #3. None of my friends IRL have kids, so I hang out here to talk with others who actually have/want them.

2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession?
De-cluttering and organizing my home. MH and I both have pack rat tendencies, so we have accumulated a lot of stuff. My goal is to simplify our life and let go of attachments to stuff.

3. What would people be surprised to know about you?
I'm a shy extrovert. I am very outgoing, and I talk with people all day long because of my job. I'm really good at small talk, but when it comes to making deeper connections I'm shy. I keep most things private (although I share a lot with you guys).

1. Where are you in your BOTB journey?
Started officially TTC in June 2008 (stopped using any protection in Jan 2007, but then we don't have sex a lot lol). Since then, we've taken at least 3 breaks longer than 1 month that I can remember off of the top of my head. I applied to grad school in 2010 and 2011, so we took 6 month breaks from Oct 2009 to April 2010; and the same period in 2010-2011. We also took a 3-4 month break starting in Sept 2011. I guess we're in a holding pattern: initial bloodwork looks good for me, but DH has been stalling on a SA for a couple of years now.

2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession?
Running, knitting, reading.

3. What would people be surprised to know about you?
I'm not sure; I seem to be an open book. I have incredibly low self-esteem sometimes (most times), but working out/running is helping that.

1. Where are you in your BOTB journey?
Just posted this is my intro, so sorry for repeat, but cycle 2, ttc #1, should be 1DPO, but I'm not "officially" charting. Just kinda half assing it with some temps every other day; looks like I had a dip and now a slow steady rise. Got what I'm calling a +OPK (It was 50% + and my test says that counts, plus I prob had a diluted sample because I cannot wait the suggested 4 hrs) on the day before I was due to O, sooooo well see.

2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession?
Furnishing/decorating my house, making travel plans, assessing Halloween decorations and costume stuff. I love Halloween!

3. What would people be surprised to know about you?
Despite my job, (actor & choreo/instructor) I actually do not enjoy being the center of attention. People can't quite grasp that concept of "performing self" vs "real self". Like, I get paid to sing and dance, but I will never karaoke. Oh and also, I share all kinds of personal stuff here, but not IRL. No one IRL knows were even ttc. I'm all kinds of contradictions! ha.

1. Where are you in your BOTB journey?: We are in the saving stage of domestic infant adoption. We have a date on the calendar to submit our application to the agency - January 2nd!
2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession?: grad school - I graduate in May, so I'm just trying to get through!
3. What would people be surprised to know about you?: Most people would be surprised to know that I have been with DH since we were 13/14. We never broke up during our dating/engaged years, and we have been together from almost 13 years!

1. I am on the mom journey. We are no longer planning to add to our family. We have one daughter, Allie.
2. Trying to plan for Christmas. We have a large list to buy for. I start early.
3. Like gnome, I have been with my husband since a very young age. We have been dating a little over 12 years. Next month we will be married 6.

1. Where are you in your BOTB journey? Currently pg with #2. This is it so I'm trying to savor the experience.

2. What is your current (non-baby) obsession? I love to bake and travel but haven't done much of either lately. Also, eating good food. I'm trying to get classes done to apply to RN school so that's been my not-fun current obsession.

3. What would people be surprised to know about you? Um, I guess for being somewhat socially outgoing I'm completely self conscious and always worried about what everyone else thinks. And if I could ignore the world and sit on the couch and drink coffee or tea all day reading i'd be the happiest girl around.
