Biden and trump are both old. I'd much rather have Kamala Harris as president than whatever asshole trump picks as VP if/when they die in office.

Good point! And yes to President Harris when the time comes.

I just saw an excellent piece by Lawrence O'Donnell. His main point was that the important work of a President occurs behind closed doors, not in front of a camera. And Biden is delivering a lot, especially given all the Republican resistance in the Senate and House.

My boilerplate response to anyone criticizing any Dem candidate is that I’m voting for policies and democracy, not personalities….and I’ll elaborate with all the great things the Biden administration has done (and all the awful things that could happen with an R administration). The worst case with Biden is we get our first woman president? I would not be sad about that. I wish I was seeing more about Kamala campaigning.

I was listening to NPR the other day. Their analysis was basically like yeah, Biden is old but Trump is old AND crazy.

Also, can you imagine what a dumpster fire’s administration would be like a second time? It would be worse than the first time and all unqualified criminals and grifters. Anyone who is qualified isn’t going to want to destroy their career or face jail time unless they are completely in the cult. The first time there were a lot of people doing it thinking working for any president would be good for their career, he wouldn’t be that bad, or he needed a babysitter.

You are so right; a 2nd term will be much, much worse. T**** will clean house on day one and install his stooges right away.
I thought this opinion piece from WaPo last fall was especially eye-opening.
