Can you use this on a knock-down type drywall texture?
For DD's imaginary room reno that we keep talking about but not progressing on, she is thinking a wallpaper wall would be good. I could see it being really pretty but i don't know if we can do peel & stick on a whole wall with a knock-down texture.
We ended up needing to smooth the wall texture first with a skim coat + a rough coat of paint. That was 2 weekends worth of work and putting the wallpaper up took a few hours once that was all dry
We used peel and stick in an older home. The walls were drywall but had a few imperfections from age. You can see all of those little lumps through the wallpaper. You would probably need to do as previous poster said to get it to stick properly and hide the bumps.
Yes, but it's better to pick something with more pattern to it to hide the texture. You might find it more bothersome in a main living area but I doubt it will bother you as much in a bedroom. A lot of wallpaper companies have small samples you can order to try out and see if they work for you.
