I think she did a good job of showing that within the R party there is a not insignificant amount of active R voters that didn't want Trump.
Those people won't vote for Biden, but I also don't know if they'll vote for Trump either.
Tuesday's daily show Jordan Klapper interviewed some of the Haley supporters. Yeah, it's for comedic effect, but there were definitely a few that reluctantly implied they might choose Biden. Overall, though, it seemed like they just won't vote.
It makes no sense from a policy standpoint but I think there are a good amount of Haley primary voters who will vote for Biden. These are the people who have always been Republican and don’t like where Trump has led the party (and probably would vote for any R running against him). They know deep down Biden is a better option than Trump for the country. I’ve heard some Evangelicals are turning away from Trump. Not sure if it’s because they feel like they’ve won with the Supreme Court and he’s not worth his usefulness to them anymore.
