You could do an at home escape room kit or murder mystery kit if they like either of those ideas. But really at that age, if they want a party at home I would make them choose what they want to do.

Do a British Bake Off or Top Chef…everyone makes their own aprons, they make their favorite cookies with a variety of ingredients and then vote on their favorites and give an award

Love the make their own apron idea.
Another idea to pair it with could be decorate their own cupcakes or cookies. All the stuff can be prepped and bagged ahead, so it makes for a pretty streamlined activity.
A friend of mine has girls this age and had a glitter tattoo station at their last party that was a complete hit. The tattoos are basically temporary tattoos of adhesive, and it comes wirh like 20 little pots of glitter that they can use/mix to decorate the tattoos. Only do this if it's an outside party or you're holding it in the home of someone you don't like, because glitter.
Last night my daughter had four friends sleep over for her birthday, and they made jewelry/did metal stamping, made resin jewelry, and decorated their cupcakes. Singing along to Taylor Swift, lol. If there was any time, I had fairy hair, but they spent so much time on the jewelry that it wasn't necessary.
Definitely buy metal stamping stuff on Facebook/Craigslist if anyone has kids interested in it. It's spendy new, but I see it on Marketplace all the time.

Oh if the weather is nice enough to be outside at all and you have space, we did tie-dying with one of the kits for a party last year, and that was fun. I did message all the parents to get tshirt sizes beforehand (just got white tshirts from michaels), and we just used the directions that came with the kit and I let the kids youtube some extra directions, and they turned out really well. We did it on our cement driveway, and the color washed off after the next hard rain. Kids took their shirts home in a plastic bag with directions to wash them out the next day (it wasn't a sleepover). Those who finished early did the 'extras' that came in the kit like a tote bag and headband I think? and I think I also picked up a pack of scrunchies.
For 9 and 10 we did a treasure hunt and an escape room. Both were print yourself kits I bought on etsy because I am not creative enough. I think the kids really liked them. My son's 11th birthday party is next weekend and this year he requested no activities lol. He also wouldn't let me put anything "themed" on the invitation. His party is all boys and I think I will set up the xbox and switch on two different TVs for a kind of DIY game truck party. Otherwise i have no idea what to do with these kids for 3 hours.
