BQ: How do you handle strong winds when you workout outside, and it's cool/cold out? Move inside to the treadmill/yoga mat/cycling trainer? Add another layer and go do your workout?
F: Naps. Saturday: Icky weather the first part of the day. Yep, early nap. Wandered around Costco and a few other stores and ran some errands. Sunday: Sadly no naps.
BQ: If it's above 45 or so, I add another layer or some cycling specific fleece pieces (assuming it won't get above 50 b/c if it does I'll roast) and ride. If the windchills never get above about 35, I'm riding inside or doing yoga (uh, inside).
I got some good news from the cardiologist this week. Unfortunately my right lung is still like Swiss cheese from the surgery. Carrying laundry up the stairs is enough to make that poor lung cough. Surgeon says it's healing, though. Could take another 6-8 months. Ugh.
BQ: I also hate wind. Its very windy here today (current wind chill of 25*) and I'm contemplating a treadmill run instead today, but I hate that just as much ha. If I do head out, I'll just add a hat and gloves to my normal winter running outfit of a long sleeve and long pants.
sadlebred, I'm glad you got good news from the cardiologist but sorry to hear about the lung issue. Take care of yourself!
