I've been a casual royal watcher off and on for decades. I DO NOT get all this brouhaha. I think it's what they said - she had a major surgery with a significant recovery period. I'm with those speculating that it was some type of bowel surgery and I think the complete absence probably has to do with something like being on high amounts of steroids (which would affect her appearance) and that's why there's no video or pictures (and why she's not wearing her rings). Alternatively, there may be a degree of embarrassment if there's a colostomy bag involved; OR if she's being treated for an ED (I fully agree that she has been looking unhealthily thin for awhile). Because there is no way in hell they are going to publicly admit that, not while she's in the middle of treatment/recovery.
Basically I believe Kate is experiencing a major health issue and I totally understand why no more details have been issued, and I think it's super weird how conspiracy theoryish people are being.
Weighing in on tummy tuck with muscle repair - I had one a week ago today and I'm pretty much back to normal life stuff. Agree that no way would I be wearing jeans, and I am hobbling around a little bit, and I would not be out on my feet all day doing public service stuff. But it is outpatient surgery, and this morning I showered and put on a dress and made a short drive to work and I'm fine sitting at my office doing zooms. I could definitely pose for a photo op today in a dress for like 10 minutes. I realize my recovery timeline is quicker than most, but this is a week out and supposedly she's months out from surgery?
So seems like either there was something different going on or she had major complications if she did have a tummy tuck/muscle repair.
A woman on a podcast I listen to got insider info that she may have had part of her colon removed due to Crohn's Disease and has a colostomy bag for now. I think this makes the most sense.
After seeing the photo that just dropped I am convinced this is all purposeful and she is just fine and in on it, perhaps. I'd like to thank the royal family for distracting me from the raging dumpster fire that is politics in the US if but just for a few days.

This is where I have been since day 1. I also think she may be on steroids, which will cause puffiness/weight gain, and making her hesitate on sharing pictures.
I will say that all the shenanigans have been entertaining and I enjoy reading the wild conspiracy theories.

Me three. It’s somewhat embarrassing to discuss bowels and digestion, it lines up with her getting so thin, and colostomy bags have a learning curve to figure out how to manage them and prevent leakage in public.
I hope if she does have crohns and a colostomy bag she eventually speaks out to normalize and raise awareness because she's not the only woman who has this reality

So much this. But my hopes are not high considering she left the hospital after child birth in dresses and heels.
I'm also grateful for this distraction from the dumpster fire here is the US. Haha

Agreed, God forbid the RF allow a member to relate to the public on a human level!

*If* this is what happened, then I have a feeling that she may. But, I also don’t begrudge her not wanting to grapple with it herself while the whole world discusses her intestines. She’s allowed to process the entire situation on her own and talk in her own time.
One of my family members went through this and the whole thing was very overwhelming. Fast weight loss with so much vomiting followed by weeks of steroids that puffed her up badly plus all the emotions of being diagnosed and dealing with wondering how/when she’d feel better. It took months to stabilize her and there are still after-effects.
But, maybe they’re getting divorced. Lol. Who in the world knows at this point!
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
When I first saw #WhereIsKate a month ago it was meant to be silly. I don't think the majority participating actually thought there was anything she had died and they were covering it up (like how does that make sense in the long run?) Or finalizing divorce decree (what does hidingbher accomplish)
But it started picking up and people on the outside thought there was truth to it. The PR people, instead of squashing, are blundering buffoons and giving it more life. So the half attempts to acknowledge are giving it air.
And I really doubt anyone with insider info is talking to a random podcast host. Their social group is locked down. And even if a medical professional spilled the beans the chance it was to that person who in turn would tell all their listeners is slim to none. Just like the medical professional when speculated on King Charles' prognosis without ever treating him or even knowing the primary cancer or metastatic involvement- but his opinion took off like he was in the OR at the time

I am under the impression that William has had a lot of recent stress due to family emergencies.
He pulled out of his godfather's memorial service due to a personal matter.

And then, a few hours later, there was a public announcement that the son-in-law of the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent died suddenly, reportedly due to a gunshot wound to the head. (TW: I am under the impression due to the news in the media about this that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.)

They did say later that the death of his cousin's husband was not the reason William pulled out of the memorial service though.

So on top of all of this, he had yet another, presumably stressful, family thing to deal with. They also said that the "personal matter" wasn't in regards to the king's cancer.
A tummy tuck with muscle repair can take several months to recover, and more if there are complications. I'm just assuming she's recovering from a medical procedure. Which is what they said. Guess I'm not a very good conspiracy theorist.
Except that's not something where you are hospitalized after for 2 weeks, it's generally outpatient.
If I had the means to stay inpatient for a couple of weeks after my muscle repair/tummy tuck/breast reduction I 100% would have done that so a 2 week stay for a wealthy person doesn't shock me. So then I remembered how I couldn't stand straight for about a month and maybe that's why we haven't seen her but we are long past that now too....
Team "the firm is hiding something" and letting Kate take the fall over here.
My theory is that this photo was taken back in November when they did the food bank video but they altered the clothes in the photo to pass the photo off as a more recent one lol. It would explain George's blurry collar, Charlotte's missing wrist, the glitch in Kate's jacket zipper, and the misaligned pattern on Louis's sleeve (near his shoulder). The outfits are almost identical asides from the patterns (except charlotte has a cardigan in the picture over the red shirt she wore in the video).
Either way, KP needs a new PR team or less yes men/women.
Right namasteak, but wasn’t Kate’s surgery months ago? Even for people that need six-eight weeks of recovery to feel relatively normal again, there’d have to be some major complications for her still to be out of the public eye following a tummy tuck.
