Is everyone staying warm? It's such a wet storm! It was up to my knees in the field near my house when I took my dog for a walk this evening. Very curious to see what the official totals are tomorrow.

Gah- I’m supposed to drive down to Denver tomorrow… didn’t realize this was epic level enough to warrant a post on the board board! We are leaving an hour earlier than we normally would to allow for the roadways on I 70….

In all seriousness, is I70 open? It's supposed to snow all night and it's been closed most of today.
We went snowshoeing in the park around 4:30, 6-18” with the drifts but honestly I think so much of it has compressed or melted, there was plenty of slush in the gutters and around areas that have been shoveled. I’m on the west/southwest side of town.
Driving to the airport at 2:30 AM to get DS1 on a flight for a big school trip tomorrow 🤞

Currently there are traction requirements but it's open, at least near Evergreen where I have friends who got dumped on. They're both commercial pilots, so I'm gonna guess they won't be called in to work anytime soon.

We've been watching COTRIP all day. It was closed for quite a while, open now, almost certainly will close again at some point due to someone with inadequate tires spinning out. It's just a question of when and for how long.

We probably ended up with 12" - 15" in a west Denver suburb. but so disappointed - DS's spring break flight was cancelled in anticipation of the snow (scheduled Th at 6:30am and they cancelled it Wednesday morning 9 hours before it even started to rain) and b/c it's Frontier they weren't able to rebook him and his friends. they're hoping to use the tickets this summer.

We're North of Denver, and overall probably got about 6 inches, but we had rain first, then a slushy mix, so ended up with about 3-4 inches that we actually had to shovel, only 1/2 inch overnight. We're West of I-25, but it just stayed too warm for us to get any real accumulation.
