Friday: Off Sat.: Wandered around the grocery store Sunday: Ate lunch outside on a nice patio
BQ: I'm Irish-American but don't do much for St. Patrick's Day. I don't even think I wore green today. I did post something on social media wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Sat: 45 min elliptical workout, 25 min treadmill workout Sun: 4 mile outdoor run, 2 mile walk
BQ: we’re having chicken, stuffing, potatoes for dinner, so not very Irish. I did wear green today, at least! That’s the most we do for “celebrating” today.
BQ: yes, I’m the child of Irish immigrants and live in Boston so it’s a celebratory day. We didn’t go to the parade because it’s too insane with the kids, but we found a family friendly event and had a blast. It was delightfully sunny and warm (upper 50s) which made for a great day. Slainte!
Fri - nothing Sat - ran 3 mi, 1 mi walk, 1 mi hike for the bluebells w/ DD1 (some were up!) Sun - 6 hrs volunteering kid sports (none of my own)
I’m legit part Irish but don’t go too nuts. I left some bath bombs for my kids since DD2 was like “oooh I wonder what the leprechaun will do!” I was like “pretty sure the ‘leprechaun’ just like your mother will be volunteering at 7am…” 🤣☘️ This afternoon I went to a friend’s 40th bday party at a city bar so everyone was festive and wearing green. Then a “living room concert” like we like to do and one of the clips we watched was from Riverdance, anyway.
Fri: rest Sat: 9 miles Sun: house projects, dug up a rhubarb and replanted it, spread a little mulch, etc.
BQ: St. Patrick's Day is our wedding anniversary, this year was 17 years. This year was pretty low key, wine and sushi takeout. We'd already had the Guinness (incidentally the name of our first dog) earlier in the weekend.
We definitely don't do all the leprechaun traps, stuff left by a leprechaun, etc. for the kids. It all feels very elf on the shelf, which we also don't do. We're only 2 weeks out from Easter, I need to save my strength, lol.

DS was talking ALL week about how he couldn't wait to see what the leprechauns would do, so I begrudgingly turned the toilet water green and strung twine around his room. He was thrilled, but I hear you. This stuff has gotten out of control.
I feel like I’ve been battling flu-feelings on and off since January! I’m so frustrated. Hopefully it’s gone for good and I can start getting back into my schedule.
BQ: I’m half Irish but we didn’t really do anything this year. I wanted to make some cookies or something with DS but just wasn’t feeling up to it. Maybe next weekend!
