I think this is wonderful, but I'm sure some conservative groups are already thinking of ways to block this. Just because they like to be contrary and oppose everything Biden does. Would it be safe to do so in an election year? Probably not.
One of the researchers invited to witness this signing gave a talk at my school this week. She was mega pumped at the implications of this down the line!

I just wanted to push more positive Biden stories out there...I do think he's actually getting quite a few things accomplished & things taht are big and matter, but not really receiving any credit for them...but that's also how good government is supposed to work...just in the background, benefiting citizens with out all the drama and self-serving we see with Trump/GOP.
This is amazing! And also really sad that it takes an executive order to push health-related research relevant to over 50% of the population.
But don’t worry, according to a Hulu ad I saw tonight for Him(s), if you’re a man whose penis may not get hard enough or stay hard long enough, you can now just get a script online and have it mailed to you discreetly. Sure do hope that the woman you might be using it on isn’t of child bearing age though, because her ability to make actual life changing medical choices isn’t as easy. But glad you can still get you some!

I agree 100%. It's like with the infrastructure bill. Yes, we absolutely need it, but it's not "sexy" so the administration doesn't really get any credit. Add a 24 hour news cycle that thrives on drama but not actual news, and important things like this get buried.
