I redeemed some of my rewards for an Uber gift card. The gift card is not valid. Discover refuses to help and blames uber, uber refuses to respond to my attempts to contact them.
Anyone have this happen before? It seems to me that if Discover is giving me a reward code that doesn't work, they share some of the responsibility for making it right.
Discover refuses to refund the rewards to my account and has said that they're okay losing me with a customer over a relatively paltry amount of rewards.
One time I lost a GAP gift card that I had just received- I think it was thrown away. They reissued it with no problem. This was several years ago though
