Where are disco fries from? I've never heard of them. I know poutine is Canadian, but I've only had it once, and that was in Hong Kong, so I certainly can't count on its authenticity.

Disco fries were a NJ diner thing but they’ve spread a bit. I see them on menus here occasionally but plain gravy fries are a little more common/popular.

Also, for everyone reading, poutine is a French word, so you pronounce it … put-seen (or even put-sin).
And if you are very drunk and it’s very late there is a poutine song (but that may have been a few isolated incidents not meant to be widely repeated).
