SHE WORKED ON A PROGRAM TO HELP TREAT AND IDENTIFY POST-BIRTH HEMORRHAGE. She died due to sepsis, but still. Add the fact that she was a Black woman and it’s super relevant to the current state of healthcare, especially Black maternal healthcare.
Major TW for infant death, as Krystal passed after experiencing her second stillbirth. I cannot grieve hard enough for her husband and loved ones.
I know my state (PA) has mentioned funding to study the causes and how to improve Black maternal death, but what else is there, concrete, that is being applied? This has to stop.

This is just beyond words horrible...My heart breaks for her family & I'm so angry that this seems to be an issue that we aren't making progress on despite more attention to this specific issue.
