He was still active and promoting the "No labels" bullshit....
Genuinely curious question - why did you find the "no labels" effort to be bullshit?
I appreciated him and Huntsman for trying to reach across the aisle - the country has since become even further divided and dysfunctional since that time.
Lieberman didn't do enough of what Democrats wanted, and Huntsman didn't do enough of what Republicans wanted. They were at least trying to pull their parties toward an effort of functional government.
Beyond that goal, I don't know his voting record on detailed issues and I can see from the above that medical care denial is a big part of why he was disliked. Is it that, or more about No Labels that was distasteful to you?

The problem with No Labels is that they are/were trying to find a Presidential candidate to run against Biden and Trump and as such it could take away votes from Biden. This is not the time for any 3rd party candidate.

Well, in theory, it may be great to have a group that pulls moderate D's & R's together to find common ground, compromise, and get actual governing done. In an ideal world, without gerrymandered districts, winner take-all primaries, and the electoral system, they may have ben able to do some good. However, threatening to run an Indy candidate in the POTUS election, would result in all sorts of chaos....are they really willing to risk giving Trump any advantage on the off chance their candidate may get 5%-10% of the vote? You want to get rid of the 2 party system, then there are other more productive things to do. Fix the above mentioned issues with our system or run moderate candidates against the right wing nuts that the GOP is putting up....

They started long before Biden and Trump (2010). I felt like at that point is when they started petering out.
