Their Supreme Court upheld the 15 week ban, which triggered the 6 week ban Desantis had signed
Got into effect in 30 days
Also appears to be headed to the Nov ballot, needs 60%, but could be a huge driver of turnout, which would help Dems

Abortion also on the ballot in MI & Ohio...2 more critical states.

I should probably know this but what is going to be on the ballot in MI? We voted add abortion rights to the state constitution a couple years ago. I thought Ohio also voted on abortion recently.

The Ohio wording is weird - what they're trying to to say is that Ohio put abortion rights on the ballot, so Florida is joining the states where abortion was a ballot issue. (And reading that back, I'm not sure I've clarified anything, lol!)

Asdholes didn't put this on the ballot, we (voters) did. It has to clear with 60%, which is tough but possible. The big question in FL is always "will the legislative actually do what the voters voted for?" though.

I didn't mean literally...I mean continue to make abortion their hill to die on, since it might be what actually kills the party.
