yes, there was a ton of forewarning that an attack was coming....I'm not seeing a ton of details at the moment...
CNN - most drones were shot down/few got through
TPM - Not surprising but still notable: the UK military also appears to be involved in the shootdown effort. Highly interesting to me there are credible reports of the Jordanian and Saudi militaries already targeting parts of the Iranian attack. The Houthi militia in Yemen has apparently also entered the fray. Less clear what if anything is happening with other “axis of resistance” proxies in Lebanon, Syria or Iraq
Egypt and Jordan have both participated in taking down the Iranian drones.
Per my friends in Jordan, there are many protests going on, even prior to today. However the Jordanian govt is arresting many people during these peaceful protests. I find it very interesting. Protesting in Jordan is illegal, technically. People there, as a general rule, will not talk politics at all, ever. I've been trying since 2018 to talk about it to get a better understanding, and they won't do it until they move out of the country. Obviously due to proximity, Jordan has the largest population of Palestinians and despite having declared "peace" with Israel in 1994, people are very deeply upset by Jordan's actions since October.

Per Axios morning newsletter
Iran launched 300+ attack drones and missiles against Israel on Saturday night local time in retaliation for an airstrike in Syria that killed a top Iranian general.
Israel says it intercepted 99% of Iran's 170 drones, 30+ cruise missiles and 120+ ballistic missiles.
Seems like Iran "had to do something" in response to Israel killing on of their generals (in Syria?) and telegraphed exactly what was going to happen so it could be stopped with minimal impact.... Hopefully there will be no further escalation.
