Just checked my Apple Music for my most-played songs that are at least 10 years old, might as well list them all lol:
Wonderwall by Oasis Allentown by Billy Joel Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye Tessellate by alt-J All I Really Want by Alanis Morrissette Wake Up by Arcade Fire Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
My 18 year-old student has a permanent tab open on her laptop — the July 4, 2004 Goo Goo Dolls performance of “Iris” in Buffalo, NY. She was not yet born at that time, but made me watch all six minutes of it and says she watches it all the time, lol. It resonates with the youth, too!
Velar Fricative Allentown is an interesting choice! I don't hate it, just wouldn't expect anyone to have it on repeat.
rachers I am interested in your launch yourself into oblivion song!
I don’t even want to type it!
But Hotel California
Looooathe does not even describe it. My friends and family take great joy whenever it comes on and I can’t escape it
I once had to borrow my ex's car for the day and he had an aftermarket radio with very unintuitive controls. Somehow I got Hotel California set on repeat and couldn't figure out how to change it. I couldn't listen to that song for *years*. I can finally tolerate it again... 15 years later
