This is so cool, and I want to see it (again). I think I'd like to be an art restorer in a future life. I did once touch up a family members painting after it was damaged in a hurricane...

Pictures often don't do art justice and those pictures look amazing so in person it must be exquisite.

I can't believe I missed this by a year. This is one of my favorite paintings (I actually showed it today in my class!)

Damn! We were there in late March and went to go find this painting not knowing about the restoration.

It looks great. Someday we'll have to go back.

We looked for it at the Louvre when we were there two summers ago and couldn't find it, guess this was why!

We're going to Paris this summer! I didn't know it was being restored. I'm so excited to see it.
