I was a longtime lurker over at the nest and I followed you guys over here. I have 4 cats- one of which has been throwing up after each meal (we feed them twice a day) for the last 3 weeks. We've taken her to two different vets- both have done extensive blood work and stool samples and cannot find anything wrong with her. Within an hour after she eats she throws up almost everything in her stomach. The food is digested so I don't think it has anything to do with hairballs. Even if she doesn't have anything in her stomach she still throws up bile. She isn't lethargic and doesn't have any other symptoms. She's been playing around with the other cats and has been eating/drinking like there's nothing wrong with her. We've been feeding her chicken soup for the cat lover's soul light- should I change her food for the time being to boiled chicken to see if the food is the culprit? Any other ideas or recommendations would be appreciated!

Yes, that sounds like probably/possibly a food sensitivity or allergy to me. I'd go to a grain free wet food like wellness and keep feeding multiple times a day.

Talk to your vet about giving her famotidine (human Pepcid). If she's throwing up stomach bile, she clearly has an upset stomach and the pepcid will help calm it down. You can buy it generic at Target and cut the pills up. We give my cat 1/4 of a pill in the morning, and if he throws up we give him another in the evening (as proscribed by his vet, though).
