Bosch 800 series. It’s quiet, everything comes out super clean, it has 3 racks, it has crystal dry that really does dry nearly everything. Occasionally the random plastic item might still be a little wet.
Have you found that it ruins your plastics? There was one review about that and because of my kids, we do throw a fair number of plastics in the dishwasher.
Nope, I have not experienced that at all. Every load we do has reusable plastic Rubbermaid containers and plastic cups/bowls since we have kids.
Edit: I would definitely not recommend GE. All of our appliances are GE so that’s what we got 5 years ago when our old dishwasher broke. That thing had major issues twice. Finally on the third “do we fix this again?!”, we decided nope and went with Bosch.
We love our Bosch. I think it was about $900 in 2021. We spent more than we wanted to but it was still really long lead times because of COVID at the time, so we got that one because it was available. We love it. It has a third shelf for silverware, which we thought was unnecessary, but will be a must have for all future dishwashers. But the biggest thing is how quiet it is. Our kitchen is connected to our living room, and when it's running, you don't even know. The fridge is louder than the dishwasher.
