I finished a reread of The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel (I really love her writing style) and am now reading The Limits by Nell Freudenberger. It’s keeping my interest even though I’m not really sure where it’s going.
QOTW: Jeopardy! I should have tried out for it when I was younger — I used to be really good at it. I don’t know enough pop culture stuff these days.
Thistlefoot by GennaRose Nethercott was amazing. One of favorite books of the year for sure.
Cut and Thirst by Margaret Atwood was a free Kindle short story. It really wasn't very good and very little happened.
How to Survive Your Murder by Danielle Valentine was a fun quick read. I went into it with pretty low expectations but ended up really enjoying it.
QOTW: I'm currently a little obsessed with watching vintage Price is Right episodes. Sling has a channel that shows 24/7 Bob Barker era episodes. The other night we saw what we think waa some of the very first episodes. The set looked like garbage and the two episodes we saw both had the exact same games and almost the exact same prizes.

Finished Little Thieves and The Bone Houses and enjoyed both.
Started reading River Mumma which connects Jamaican mythology to modern day Toronto. I'm digging it.
Started listening to Fathomfolk, which is about political tensions between humans and mythological water-dwellers. I like that it includes beings from all over the world (waterdragons, kappa, bunyip, kelpie, sirens, etc) but it is slow going.
QOTW: What is your favorite game show? I don't think I have one!
