I am (newly) co-chair of my company's Events Committee. We do 4 Kahoot games per year and they are very popular. For the Summer Kahoot we are doing Summer Vacation Spots. I'm familiar with spots that are near me (East Coast) but I'm having a hard time coming up with spots in other parts of the country. So, please share your favorite (domestic) summer vacation spot and a fun fact about that spot if you have one.
Ex. Wildwood, NJ was known as Little Las Vegas in the 1950's and 1960's

Catalina Island (off the coast of LA) has a lot of trivia: 1. Chicago Cubs trained on Catalina Island from 1921 to 1951. The reason is that the island was owned by the Wrigley family (of chewing gum and stadium fame) 2. Silent movies were filmed in the island in the 1920s. American bison were brought to Catalina Island for the production of The Vanishing American and abandoned. Today the descendants of the bison are still there. 3.
