We were supposed to go to WDW in February. We had to reschedule and are supposed to go a week from Saturday. I’m experiencing a lot of dizziness and vertigo, left over from Covid 3 months ago. I can’t imagine going on rides right now. So it looks like we are rescheduling again.
What is your favorite time of year to go? We are willing to take the kids out of school for a few days to avoid very busy/super hot times. We have been twice the first week of October, and have done MNSSHP, so probably a different time of year than that.

We went in early December this year, and in a vacuum I loved it. We did swim every day, but it was definitely cold when we got out of the pool. In addition, it was hard being away with youngish kids for a week in December with Christmas prep.
If you don’t care about the pools I think late January/early February could be great.

I went in late February this year, and it was perfect. Not too crowded and the weather was wonderful. Warm enough to sit by the pool but not so warm that you were sweating buckets all day.

Depending on how Easter falls, the end of April and first week of May is my favorite. It's hot but not oppressive yet, and the crowds are really low. Only downside is the cheer camps, but if you aren't staying at the Value resorts you don't see the hoards as much.
I used to love going in January and February but the it's a lot more crowded now (it used to be completely empty).
If you want to go this year I would definitely try first or second week of November.
I've only been there around the first week of March, so not sure how it compares, but we liked it! It might be iffy on weather but it was hot a couple days and good for swimming, but not too hot in the parks. Crowds didn't seem excessive to me.
The only annoying thing was that we did really long park days, and our pool hours were extended starting the FOLLOWING week after our trip. So it was hard to rush back and try to get the kids a little pool time.
We've gone twice, once in early August (would not recommend - super hot and miserable IMO) and mid-December (Dec.16-22 I think). We really liked the December weather. The kids swam (5 years and 11 years at the time), but it was a little chilly for the adults. We're from the Midwest so we definitely prefer cooler temps. The weather in December was t-shirts during the day and light jackets at night.
We left right as the Christmas crowds were ramping up. We didn't go to MVMCP (would have loved to, but it wasn't in the budget). We did MK on a day when it shut down early for the party. The crowds were low due to limited hours and we were able to get a lot done. My only disappointment was that we were not able to see MK fireworks because we were never there in the evening. But, we saw the Epcot fireworks and a holiday light festival at HS.
