Come in if you've had Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Well, looks like I get to have surgery for Carpal Tunnel on both hands. Within the next 10-12 weeks on one and this winter on the other. Tell me what I need to know about it. I'll get more information at a pre-op appointment.

--How long were you off work?

--How long before you could get back to normal. The surgeon said no lifting for 2 weeks.

--Did it hurt?

--How long is your scar?

--Anything else?

I'm sure I'll think of other questions...not looking forward to this. I have NO sick time left and will probably have to use vacation in order to not eat up even more FMLA--which is already unpaid. (See: heart surgery in Jan.)
