Since there's no actual enforceable rule that they have to recuse themselves, they're not going to. I saw that there was going to be a censure against Alito, let me see if I can find it.

The pine tree flag with the star is all over shit here. Souvenirs, hats, signs, soon to be the standard issue license plate, up for vote in November to decide if it replaces the blue flag with the state seal…

I had to look this up - ballotpedia.org/Maine_State_Flag_Referendum_(2024)

It looks like the new flag hasn't been decided on? Just that there will be a tree and star?

Some of the versions look like bad clipart, but I don't think will be confused with the hate flag.

No, flag is up for vote. They tried to delay the vote to have time to develop a final design (like realism, placement measurements, etc, not the overall concept), but something about the governor taking a stand against late submitted bills means it’s on the ballot this year.

The standard issue license plate is a done deal. Chickadee is out, Original Maine flag is in.

The trinkets and signs are all whatever an artist or import company wants to do.

The former Maine state flag, which some residents are advocating to re-adopt again as the official state flag, has a pine tree, a blue star, and no words.

The Appeal to Heaven flag has a pine tree, no star, and the words, "An appeal to heaven" on it.
