I don't know how some of you listened to some of the debates in the US in the past - it's been awful. No one listening to the moderator, bullshit coming out of the mouths of our PM. Ugh.

Sounds like US debates. At the last presidential debates in 2020, they started turning off the microphone of the person speaking if he ran over or was not his turn.

They have to do this here. It was a shit show and so not worth the time to watch it as we didn't learn anything at all about either candidate.

Ugh I feel you. Stuff like this has been happening in Canada too. Just a total lack of parliamentary decorum and no better during election season. I am not looking forward to our next election's debates - it's at least somewhat better in the French debate as our Conservative leaders of late have barely been able to speak the language and thus less able to engage in a shouting match. Although that role then gets filled by the Bloc leader so I guess it all evens out.
