QOTW: Friendly’s Forbidden Chocolate

I finished Lies and Weddings by Kevin Kwan, which was a lot of fun, and just started The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton.

QOTW: It’s hard to narrow it down to one favorite! Probably mocha chip.

charlatti that's too funny. The two books I read this week are Last Murder at the End of the World and Lies and Weddings.

I thought Last Murder was just fine but I really wasn't in the mood for it.

Lies and Weddings filled my need for fun escapism and I found it hard to put down. If I were in a more skeptical mood, there are things that would have annoyed me but I really enjoyed it.

QOTW: I love anything that mixes chocolate, salt, and caramel. Haagen-Dazs is my go to brand and the Caramel Cone is my current favorite.

Vespasia, that’s exactly how I felt about Lies and Weddings — just a fast (despite the length) and fun read, which was perfect this week.

I am still reading The Likeness.  Fingers crossed, I will finally finish this book this weekend. 

QOTW: It has been a while since I have eaten ice cream - chocolate and rocky road come to mind.

Still reading What is Love. The characters are a little caricature-esque, but I like the plot.

Finished Practice Makes Perfect, which was light and fun.

Started Calamity which is a space cowboy novel. I love space cowboys - Hans Solo, Captain Mal... although this is technically space cowgirl since the captain of the ship is a woman.


QOTW: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

it used to be birthday cake, but thinking about that makes my mouth feel too sweet, so I'm thinking maybe just classic chocolate chip.
