Not a lawyer and can't speak to the legal aspects, but it's certainly refreshing to see the court not make decisions 100% aligned with conservatives.

Yes .... 

As someone who had a DVRO against their xh, I was pleasantly surprised. He's since deceased but anytime I hear about a family being wiped out due to gun violence, I feel it in the pit of my stomach. The fact that it could have been Miss R and myself is not lost on me. I was lucky in that the State prosecuted him for the DVRO violations and I had a stronger Protective Order put in place.
