Trump visit

Trump is having a rally in my town tomorrow, only a few miles from my house.  OMG - the people selling merchandise for miles down the road.  Traffic is already a nightmare.  Needless to say, as scary as it is, support is HUGE around here.  Why did he have to come here?  We're a very small town.  We are not meant to hold this kind of fiasco.

Ugh. Unless he is holding multiple tomorrow I am 2 counties away (diagonally south & east). He came twice during in the past few years, including a visit at our fairgrounds for Dr Oz. Surprisingly the backroads held up to traffic well despite a few thousand coming in to see him (no one cared about Oz). He did not stay long and pissed off a lot of "fans". Hopefully the warnings are overblown or the humid temp keeps people away

Yes, everyone I know is okay so far.  The man killed was from the area, but I didn't know him personally.  I did have quite a few coworkers and acquaintances that were there, but they are okay.  It's terrifying that this happened so close to home.  I'm having a very hard time processing it.  Our yearly farm show is on those grounds.  I don't know that I'll ever be able to go and enjoy that again.  I've heard many other locals say the same thing.
